The tenth year of the important traditional feast of choir singing, which thanks to its imaginative dramaturgy and concept represents a unique festival not only in the Czech Republic but also in Central Europe. For the tenth time Hradec Králové will welcome mixed voice choirs, chamber choirs, children’s choirs and vocal ensembles from the CR as well as abroad (Sweden, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary) to participate in this rare event. You can look forward to joint performances of choirs at several festival concerts not only in Hradec Králové but also in partner towns. All festival participants will rehearse the Bouquet of Flowers cantata by Bohuslav Martinů at joint rehearsals under the baton of guest conductor Roman Válek and this piece will be performed at the final gala concert in the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra hall on Tuesday Jun. 18.
