This project of events commemorating one of the largest battles of the 19th century offers an international meeting of military history clubs, a parade through the city, concerts of period bands, a cultural programme and interactive specialist demonstrations. A reconstruction of the combative events will be staged with professional film direction, dramaturgy and commentary on the actual spot where the battle took place, as well as a period military camp, cavalry clashes, bayonet charges by the infantry, artillery, along with ample pyrotechnic displays.
